Hello Albert Bridge School!
We have had a busy and productive week being responsible for our learning, our environment, and each other.  Soccer players have been practicing and playing hard~Keep up the hard work!  The Vermont Symphony Orchestra's Instrumental Petting Zoo came to ABS on Friday and the students had a chance to try many different instruments. Thank you Ms. Becker, Ms. Jones, Mr. Aldrich, Mr. Underhill, Ms. Mello, Ms. Garrow and especially, Ms. Bell for helping our instrumentalists explore the many instruments! Our 3-6 graders will be presenting their speeches for student council next week! I can't wait to hear about the great ideas your young community leaders will contribute to our school. Spelling bee students are hard at work preparing for their regional spelling bee on October 7th.  Athletes, scholars, musicians, civil servants, environmentalists, gardeners, scientists, historians, photographers, spellers, and most of all LEARNERS fill our halls everyday.  Thank you for being so responsible and caring.
Mrs. Aldrich

Mrs. Bodley, Mrs. Emerson, and the 2nd graders begin their journey to compare Brownsville's past with present day.  Young photographers keep a keen eye out for the right angle.
6th Grade ladies are working on collaborating!

6th grade Gentlemen are showing their skills at teamwork~Keep up the communication!

Responsibility

Good Morning Responsible Community Members,

We have been diligently practicing different ways to be a responsible member of the Albert Bridge Community. I am looking forward to filling our bucket this week with the many ways you take responsibility for your learning and impact on the community.  Why do you think it is important to be responsible? Be prepared to share!

Responsibly Yours,

Mrs. Aldrich

Week 2

                                                September 3, 2013
Hello Albert Bridge School Community,
This week we will be continuing to build our community and look for ways we fill each other's buckets.  Albert Bridge Students have demonstrated they are a caring and respectful community.  We'll have our bucket with brief stories that show how other people fill our bucket. Some people in our community have filled the Albert Bridge Bucket by participating in the Target "Take Charge of Education"! Thanks for choosing Albert Bridge as your school to support.

Gratefully,
                      Mrs. Aldrich
